About GŪD Gear

GŪD Gear is a small, independent-voiced field guide to the gear side of cannabis — the jars, grinders, sessionware, and cases that never make the glossy product shots but decide whether your stash is good in three weeks or gone. We are part of the GŪD family of brands, and we write for adults 21+.

How we test

We care about the unglamorous questions: does the seal still seal after a hundred openings? Do the grinder teeth round off? Does the "travel" case survive an actual bag? Our reviews are written about gear categories — the archetype, not one brand's single SKU — because that is the decision most people are actually making: should I buy a glass jar or a pop-top; a two-piece grinder or a four-piece. The score on a review is our own editorial verdict on that category. It is never paid for, and it is never supplied by a brand.

How we make money, and how we disclose it

GŪD Gear is a sibling of GŪD Supply, our sister store for hemp-infused goods and apparel. When a guide points you to something GŪD Supply carries, that link is sponsored and marked as such — every store link on this site is disclosed with rel="sponsored", and we never dress a link up as a "SHOP NOW" button. If a category's honest answer is "you don't need to buy anything," we say that instead.

What this isn't

Nothing on GŪD Gear is legal, medical, or dosage advice. We talk about storage, hardware, and habits — not what to consume or how much. Laws vary by where you live; that part is on you. If you want the consumable side of the GŪD world, that lives at GŪD Supply's cannabis library.
